Websites

What websites do you create?

I create professional showcase websites for sole traders, independent shops and small businesses. They’re designed to clearly show what you do, help potential customers find you and give your business a professional online home.

I also create online shops using Shopify if you’re ready to sell your products online.

I mainly work with WordPress and Elementor for showcase websites, and Shopify for online shops. These give me plenty of flexibility to create a website that’s tailored to your business and can grow with you.

That depends on what you need your website to do. The Starter Showcase is ideal if you need a simple, professional online presence, while the Showcase Website gives you more pages and flexibility if you have more to say or more of your business to showcase.

If you’re not sure which is right for you, just get in touch and we can work it out together.

You’ll need to provide the content and images you’d like included on your website, as you know your business and your customers best. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what you need — I’ll give you guidance on what to include and where, and help you make sense of it all.

Absolutely. If you already have a domain name, I can connect it to your new website. If you haven’t registered one yet, I can point you in the right direction and help you get everything connected when your website is ready to go live.

Yes. Your website will be built so that you can make your own basic updates once it’s live. I’ll also show you how to make simple changes during your handover, so you’re not left wondering what to click when you want to update something.

Online Shops

Can you set up payments & shipping

Yes. If you’re having a Shopify store built, I can help you set up your payment provider and shipping settings so everything is ready for you to use. You’ll need to provide your business and payment details, and you’ll remain responsible for your Shopify account, payment provider and shipping charges.

Yes. If you already sell through Etsy, eBay or another online marketplace, I can add links to your existing shop so customers can easily find your products. This can be a useful way to bring your website and existing selling platforms together without needing to move everything over straight away.

That depends on which online shop package you choose and the size of your product range. We’ll discuss what you need during the planning stage and make sure your chosen package is suitable for the number of products and categories you want to sell.

Absolutely. Your shop can be expanded as your business grows, whether that means adding more products, new categories or additional features. We can start with what you need now and build on it as your business develops.

Not at all. I’ll explain everything in plain English and won’t expect you to know anything about websites. My job is to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

Once you’ve decided to go ahead, I’ll guide you through the process from setting up your Shopify store to getting it ready to launch. We’ll start with your shop structure, products and design, then I’ll build your store, set up the essential Shopify settings and make sure everything works properly across desktop and mobile.

You’ll provide your product information, images, pricing and business details, while I’ll take care of the website-building side of things. Before we launch, you’ll have the opportunity to check everything and request any agreed changes.

Working with me

What happens once my website goes live?

You won’t just be handed the keys and left to figure things out on your own. Every website and online shop includes 30 days of post-launch support, so if you have questions or something needs tweaking, I’m here to help.

That’s where my Support services come in. You can choose ongoing Website Care or Care Plus, or book a One-Off if you just need a particular job sorting. You’ll always know where to come when you need a hand.

Before we start, I’ll give you an estimated timescale for your project and explain what needs to happen at each stage. I’ll also keep you updated as we go, so you’re never left wondering where things are up to.

If something changes along the way, I’ll let you know rather than leaving you guessing.

That’s completely fine. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly formed website plan. We’ll talk through your business, what you’re trying to achieve and what you need your website to do, and I’ll help you work out the right approach.

That’s okay — things can become clearer once you see your website taking shape. We’ll have agreed the scope of your project before we start, but if you want to discuss a change or something isn’t quite feeling right, we’ll talk it through and work out the best way forward.

I’m a small business owner too, so I understand that your website is important to your business — and that handing it over to someone else can feel like a big deal. I’ll keep things personal, straightforward and friendly, and I’ll treat your business with the same care I’d want someone to give mine.
